The SLS-6D is a speaker cable splitter/combiner patch panel for portable and installation amplifier racks. The SLS-6D is essentially three Cable Cube DISTRO/MATRIX units in a 2U rack mount panel. The difference between this product and the SLS-6 is that the 'D' represents Dual NL8 parallel connectors instead of a single NL8 that is on the SLS-6. Using Neutrik speaker cable jumpers, the amplifier outputs conveniently patch into the rear panel. The output or front panel then combines channels A1 & A2 into a single NL4 connector providing a Bi-amp output marked 1-2. This is repeated for channels A 3-4, B 1-2, B 3-4 C 1-2 & C 3-4. Each of these Bi-amp NL4 outputs are then combined together in their respective A,B & C groupings, into two (2) parallel connected NL8 connectors that can be used to feed two 8 conductor cables that enable a second Stage Box NL8FC cable connection into the same amplifier outputs allowing flexible patching of 4 full range or two Bi-amp NL4 output connectors in a stage box or DISTRO/MATRIX as an example, by moving a single NL8 connection to different NL8 outputs on the front panel..

DISTRO (SKU: 10042)This is a break-out box that connects the first two contacts (pin 1+, 1-) of an NL4 connector to the first two contacts (pin 1+, 1-) of an NL4 and the other two contacts of the first NL4 connector (pin 2+, 2-) and connects them to the first two contacts (pin 1+, 1-) of a second NL4 connector. ~ This has the same wiring as a COMBO that uses all NL2/Combo connectors. ~ Applications: This enables two (2) full range speakers to be connected to a single four (4) conductor speaker cable.
MATRIX (SKU: 10082)The MATRIX is an adaptor box that breaks out an NL8 into two (2) NL4’s. The first half of the NL8 connector (Pins 1+, 1-, 2+, 2-) connect to the same pins on the first NL4 connector. The second half of the NL8 (Pins 3+, 3-, 4+, 4-) connect respectively to Pin 1+, 1-, 2+, 2- of the second NL4.
